When Tarsha Jackson, owner of The Crate Crossfit approached us about her new business, we were excited to make her sign process as painless as possible. Crossfit has become huge around the country and with Tarsha’s past fitness experience, she decided it was time to go into business for herself.

Numerous new businesses have cash flow concerns as many up-front investments are necessary in the beginning. It was imperative that Tarsha have all the signs she needed within her budget and we were up for the challenge!

We started with the traditional form of advertising about the business with the least monetary impact-cut graphics for the front door. The client chose to include the business name, phone number and website address. Since the client had multiple times that she was open and closed during the day and evening, we decided that the hours of operation were not needed.

We loved the fact that the color logo was an option as the landlord didn’t have any sign restrictions and quickly created a design that maximized those colors. For greatest impact, we chose to use only white vinyl for the text portion. Since the glass door received sun all day long, we chose to use a high performance vinyl & overlaminate that could withstand the brutal Houston Texas sun and heat without fading, creasing or peeling off. We printed the design on a 3 mil high performance calendered white vinyl with 3M IJ180 and the matching 3M gloss overlaminate. We then detail cut all the pieces out and removed the negative vinyl with the weeding process. The entire graphic was covered with transfer tape.

After cleaning & prepping the glass door, we were ready for the installation. The 24”x24” graphics were to be installed by centering the entire section and carefully measuring and leveling throughout the install process. Our installers are meticulous in the details and won’t stop until its 100% perfect as promised!

Our client was very happy with the finished product and the price. If you’re interested in a great and fun way to get into shape, give Tarsha at The Crate Crossift a try.
